Question 1

Triumph Street Triple vs Yamaha MT-09?

Accepted Answer

MT-09 is the CP3 torque monster. Street Triple (triumph street triple, 765 cc / 118 hp) is the British inline-triple that reviewers still call a reference naked. Demo both — they do not steer the same, even if both are «middleweight nakeds».

Question 2

Street Triple 765 vs 675?

Accepted Answer

675 is the earlier Street Triple everyone loved. 765 is the later one. Fairings no; this is naked. Engines and electronics do not swap because the tank says Triple.

Question 3

Street Triple R vs RS vs Moto2?

Accepted Answer

RS is the sharper one with better suspension/electronics. R is the street one. Moto2 is the homologation toy. Buy the suspension you will not cheap out on after a crash.

Question 4

Street Triple a good first bike?

Accepted Answer

118 hp in a light chassis is a graduate bike. A Trident 660 or a used 675 with a brain is the first Triple. Insurance quotes will explain why.
